About the program

The Master’s degree programme in Chemistry – Bio and Nanomaterials track at the University of Pavia offers an in-depth exploration of chemistry at the nanoscale, where matter exhibits unique and often extraordinary properties.

Delivered at the University of Pavia, this Master’s degree in Chemistry follows the Bio and Nanomaterials track is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of advanced bio-compatible materials, ranging from fully synthetic systems to bioinspired structures, and their applications across cutting-edge technologies.

Also thanks to a collaboration with five other Departments at the University of Pavia, the programme combines theoretical knowledge with a strong emphasis on practical laboratory experience, in line with a long-standing tradition of excellence in experimental chemistry. Students benefit from an integrated set of courses and hands-on activities that provide a well-rounded perspective on smart, responsive materials and their interaction with the environment.
